INTEGRATED SECURITY SYSTEMS, INC. ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF INTELLI-SITE VERSION 3.6

Irving, Texas – May 18, 2006 – Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (ISSI), (OTCBB Symbol: IZZI) today announced that it’s wholly owned subsidiary, Intelli-Site, Inc., has released the latest version of their highly respected security system integration software platform: Intelli-Site® Version 3.6. Intelli-Site’s newest offering provides significantly increased flexibility with a broad range of database options, including: MS-SQL, MSDE, MS-Access, and now offers full interoperability with the Oracle® enterprise-wide database structure and the PeopleSoft® database management system. This version also includes an enhanced import-export function, Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) support, and global anti-passback feature. Version 3.6 adds Enhanced Boolean Expression capability, which allows for any input or output to automatically drive or initiate functions within the system.
Intelli-Site represents a giant advance in enterprise-wide integration of various security systems and tools from a wide-variety of manufacturers. Under Intelli-Site, both legacy and new security devices can be integrated and operate within a single, unified user-configurable Windows® based platform. This allows the organization the flexibility of deploying the optimal security hardware without being restricted by manufacturer-specific software platforms. Utilizing a driver database of over fifty devices, including leading CCTV, Card Access, Intercom, Fire, Lighting, Perimeter/Fence Intrusion Detection, DVR, sensor and panel manufacturers, Intelli-Site provides seamless integration to most industry-leading hardware platforms and also develops custom drivers for specific customer applications.
